How to Cure Diarrhea Using Ordinary Solutions
Diarrhea or loose bowel movement is caused by poor hygiene and contaminated foods and drinks. Certain illnesses also caused diarrhea like infected tonsils, infections in the ear, urinary tract and infected intestines. The eating of incompatible foods, oily foods, and gas in the intestines are also reasons why diarrhea happens. At some point, commercial laxatives, and certain chemical antibiotics are the culprit. Intestinal parasites also instigate diarrhea. In severe cases, dehydration and malnutrition may be fatal.
The Effective Cure:
Giving medicine is the usual treatment. Sad to say, giving medicine to cure diarrhea doesn’t make sense and will do more harm than cure. The most effective cure to diarrhea is giving the patient plenty of fresh fruit juice, fresh water and bed rest. These are far more effective than administering medicine. Remember, medicine is not normally required in treating diarrhea. One should only replace the lost body fluids to shun apparent dehydration.
The following solutions will not cost you a fortune:
Rehydration formulas:
1. Two tbsp. honey or brown sugar, 1 tsp. salt and One liter boiled water
2. Coconut water – preferably six to seven month old fruit
Ordinary Herb Preparation (for ordinary diarrhea):
1. Guava leaves tea
2. Mugwort leaves tea
3. Decoction of unripe banana fruit
For all cases, dosage is normal. If sudden discomfort is experienced, the tea of powdered charcoal will do wonders. Drink one tablespoon of finely ground charcoal-made from coconut shells. Do not add sugar.
A Big No No
Diarrhea requires full support. It should not be suppressed because it is the body’s natural way of eliminating “dirt”. Again, repressing it is a definite No No. The patient should manage to live on a meager diet preferably about one or two days to give his stomach rest. Always give fresh fruit juice and vegetable broth with no oil.
The effective cure lies in your hand. Maintain cleanliness; do not accumulate garbage. It should be disposed properly.

That’s good. I like that natural way. I also prefer to use natural way such as using essential oil, i.e. oil of thyme, lavender and tea tree…
