The only singer to have won multiple awards in Grammy, Emmy, MTV Video Music, MTV Movie, Peoples Choice, and Billboard Music Awards, chart seven consecutive number one Billboard Hot 100 Hits with over 200 million albums sold around the globe is dead.

Whitney Houston, only 48 was found by a member of her staff unresponsive in her hotel room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday, February 11th. She was declared dead at 3:55pm PST after paramedics tried CPR on her but it didn’t work.

Prior to her death, she was to attend Clive Davis’s annual party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel that evening. She even talked with Dionne Warwick, her cousin and to Cissy Houston, her mother about attending the said party.

The reason for Whitney Houston’s death is as yet known, but is not thought to be suspicious because there have been no signs of foul play. Ms. Houston has been through drug rehabilitation programs several times. She’s failed time and again to get clean. Local authorities are investigating the death.
